As of the 29th of June 2021, the WA government is asking all people within the Perth & Peel region to wear a mask when outdoors. For some, wearing a mask has become apart of every day life & for those that wear behind the ear hearing aids, it can cause issues. The use of a face mask with elastic worn around the ears can cause irritation on the ear as well as an increased risk of losing your hearing aid or broken tubing when you flick your mask off.
